On the down stroke, your forefoot angulation and arch cause the foot to collapse slightly, which leads your knee, shin, and forefoot to rotate inwards. This sideways movement reduces efficiency and strains your knee, so we designed the S-Works Recon to boost your comfort, improve pedaling efficiency, and prevent injury.
